Set in Tolconi at nearly 5,000 meters above sea level, this film follows veterinarian Carlos Enrique as he visits alpaca breeders who embody a culture of “Uywanacuy” (mutual survival between people and animals). Through seasonal migrations, breeding practices, fiber production, and weaving traditions, the film captures both the resilience of Andean pastoralists and the deep bonds that sustain families, herds, and ecosystems.
